- Detailed
-
Achromatic cylindrical lens adopts a cemented structure combining two lens elements of dissimilar optical materials. Featuring different refractive index and dispersion characteristics, it effectively suppresses chromatic and spherical aberration. Capable of concentrating incident light into a precise linear spot, this component is widely deployed for laser beam shaping and laser projection equipment.

- Achromatic Doublet Construction: Engineered from low-dispersion crown glass (e.g., N-BK7) paired with high-dispersion flint glass (e.g., N-SF5), this bonded assembly effectively corrects axial chromatic aberration and spherical aberration across visible to near-infrared bands, ensuring consistent focusing performance for broadband light sources.
- Single-Axis Focusing Capability: Unlike standard spherical lenses that focus to a point, these lenses deliver a crisp, straight line focus along one axis. This makes them ideal for line beam generation, anamorphic image correction, and one-dimensional beam collimation tasks
- Enhanced Imaging Performance: By minimizing aberration-induced blur, our achromatic cylindrical lenses achieve 50–90% narrower line widths compared to single-element cylindrical lenses. This translates to higher resolution and improved signal-to-noise ratio in LED/laser scanning and precision inspection systems.
High Precision & Mechanical Stability:
- Dimensional Tolerance: ±0.01 mm for critical dimensions
- Surface Quality: 20/10 scratch-dig rating or better
- Centration Accuracy: <30 arcseconds
- Wavefront Precision: λ/10 PV or lower
Broadband Anti-Reflection Coatings: Available with tailored AR coatings for 350–700 nm (visible) or 650–1050 nm (NIR) spectra. Each surface maintains average reflectance <0.5%, maximizing light transmission and suppressing unwanted ghost reflections.
