Custom Optical Domes

We supply standard protective optical domes, including classic hemispherical optical domes and wide-angle hyper-hemispherical optical domes fabricated from sapphire, fused silica, BK7 optical glass and infrared crystals.

Hemispherical Optical Dome

A hemispherical optical dome is a precision concentric spherical optical window with crown height equal to its radius, providing a symmetrical 180° field of view.

Hyper-hemispherical Optical Dome

Hyper-hemispherical optical dome is a high-precision ultra-wide-angle optical window defined by a spherical crown height greater than its radius, exceeding the structural limit of standard 180° hemispherical optical domes.

Sapphire Windows

Our custom sapphire windows are machined from high-purity monocrystalline aluminum oxide (Al₂O₃), tailored for optical systems working under extreme high-temperature, corrosive chemical, abrasive and high-pressure conditions — environments where fused silica and BK7 optical glass fail to maintain consistent optical stability.

Micro Lenses

The micro lenses processing requires special capabilities and unique skills, we can reach the dimension of micro lenses as small as 0.5mm.

Micro Prisms

The micro prisms processing requires special capabilities and unique skills, we can reach the dimension of micro prism is less than 0.3mm, micro prisms occupy very little space inside an assembly or optical systems.

Micro Optics Assemblies

Extensive automation allows for micro size, cost efficient, high performance and fast assembly of complex optical paths with optical lenses, filters, prisms, and mirrors in standardized photon platform.

Achromatic Lenses

Achromatic lenses effectively reduce or eliminate chromatic aberration, with their optimized layout also helping minimize spherical aberration.

Meniscus Lenses

Meniscus lenses, also named convex-concave lenses, feature one convex curved surface and one concave surface, split into positive meniscus lens and negative meniscus lens based on curvature difference.

Double-Concave Lenses

A double concave lens features two concave spherical surfaces and a negative focal length. It diverges incident light beams, and is widely applied for beam expansion, collimation and projection in optical systems.

Double-Convex Lenses

Double Convex Lenses, also referred to as Biconvex or DCX, feature positive focal lengths and two convex surfaces of equal radii. They are widely applied in image relay and close-conjugate imaging.

Plano-Concave Lenses

Plano Concave Lenses (PCV) have one concave surface and a negative focal length, ideal for beam expansion, collimated beam divergence and focal length adjustment across optical systems.

Plano-Convex Lenses

Plano convex lens has a positive focal length and is usually used for aiming and focusing of monochromatic light sources

Ball lenses

Ball lenses are transparent spherical ball, which has small diameters, sometimes with a few millimeters or even less than a millimeter.

Customized Lenses

In addition to conventional shaped spherical lenses, JT also provides customized spherical lenses of various shapes according to customers' different application needs.

Custom Sapphire Optics

We deliver full-spectrum custom sapphire optics solutions machined from high-purity single-crystal aluminum oxide (Al₂O₃), supporting fully personalized geometry, optical curvature, crystal orientation and anti-reflection coatings per customer technical drawings.

Calcium Fluoride Optics

Calcium fluoride (CaF2) has excellent transmittance between 250nm and 7um, making them widely used in products such as spectroscopic prisms, windows and lenses

Optical Glass Domes

An optical glass dome is a high-precision concentric spherical optical window for light transmission and sensor protection. Made of premium BK7/H-K9L and Borofloat glass, it features uniform thickness, excellent optical homogeneity and minimal ray deviation.

Fused Silica Domes

A fused silica dome is a high-purity SiO₂ concentric spherical optical dome fabricated from bubble-free synthetic fused silica, available in JGS1, JGS2 and JGS3 grades.

Achromatic Cylindrical Lenses

An achromatic cylindrical lens is composed of a positive low refractive index cylindrical lens and negative high refractive index cylindrical lens cemented together.

Meniscus Cylindrical Lenses

A meniscus cylindrical lens features one convex and one concave cylindrical surface, engineered to focus or diverge light in a single dimension.

Double-Convex Cylindrical Lenses

A double convex (biconvex) cylindrical lens features two outward-curved cylindrical surfaces, symmetrically engineered to converge light in a single axis with no optical power along the orthogonal axis.

Double-Concave Cylindrical Lenses

Double concave cylindrical lenses feature two concave cylindrical surfaces with negative optical power, designed to divert light in one axis while leaving the orthogonal axis unaffected.

Plano-Convex Cylindrical Lenses

Plano convex cylindrical lenses are positive-power optical components featuring one flat (plano) surface and one convex cylindrical surface.
