Optical Domes
We supply standard protective optical domes, including classic hemispherical optical domes and wide-angle hyper-hemispherical optical domes fabricated from sapphire, fused silica, BK7 optical glass and infrared crystals.
A hemispherical optical dome is a precision concentric spherical optical window with crown height equal to its radius, providing a symmetrical 180° field of view.
Hyper-hemispherical Optical Dome
Hyper-hemispherical optical dome is a high-precision ultra-wide-angle optical window defined by a spherical crown height greater than its radius, exceeding the structural limit of standard 180° hemispherical optical domes.
An optical glass dome is a high-precision concentric spherical optical window for light transmission and sensor protection. Made of premium BK7/H-K9L and Borofloat glass, it features uniform thickness, excellent optical homogeneity and minimal ray deviation.
A fused silica dome is a high-purity SiO₂ concentric spherical optical dome fabricated from bubble-free synthetic fused silica, available in JGS1, JGS2 and JGS3 grades.
