CVD zinc sulfide (ZnS) is a chemically inert material with high purity, insoluble in water, moderate density, and easy processing, the same as zinc selenide (ZnSe) material, zinc sulfide (ZnS) is also a material with good refractive index uniformity and consistency, ranging from 8 to 12 um band has excellent image transmission performance, but it begins to partially absorb after 10um.
The Application of ZnS Domes
ZnS has high durability and chemical stability, and can transmit high energy in the range of ultraviolet to infrared. ZnS domes are widely used in lighting and are an important components of light sources, such as LED lamps, fluorescent lamps, high-pressure mercury lamps, sodium lamps, etc; It also has mportant applications in thermal imaging, solar cells, electronic displays, UV curing equipment, and other fields.
